1st visit was to Manila city in 1981.
2nd visit was to Manila city again in 2006.
This was my 3rd visit (22-30 October) but it was to Urdaneta city (in the province of Pangasinan), 116 miles from Manila. The bus ride was about 5 hours.
My first posting is on the food, which my sister and I enjoyed very much, as both of us were missing authentic Asian food!

Thank God for fast food restaurants like Kentucky Fried Chicken, Jollibee, Mc Donald and convenient store like Seven Eleven, otherwise my Aussie brother-in-law will be starved as he doesn't care for Asian food.

Mall Food Stalls. That was where we had breakfast before we ventured to the street stalls. Simple meal of rice and 2 meat dishes or vegetable dishes would cost around 100PHP.

Chinese restaurant. We paid 2015PHP for a dinner for 8 persons. I think it is too expensive for the kind of food that we ordered.

Well.... like any other cities, depending on your budget and taste, you have the choice of eating at air-conditioned restaurants or street stalls.
